How do I practice at home?

This is a question I get asked often.... The first step is:
Make sure you have an open space and a chair to use if you need a barre.
It is always best to download the RAD videos for your grade (you can find them on the RAD app) if you can, but it is an extra cost which isn't always feasible for everyone. In that case, you can always look up your grade on YouTube (RAD grade goes here).
Next is to make a schedule of what you need to practice and when you are going to practice. For example... Say I was taking RAD grade 1 my table might look like the table below.
I would dance along with the video first then see if I can dance without looking at the video
Afterwords I would try to think about corrections I got in class for the exercise I am working on and try to make those corrections if possible.
It would also be great if you had a larger movable mirror to dance in front of the mirror so that you can see what you need to correct.
If you are a super keen student you can also bring a notebook with you and right after class you can write down all the corrections you can remember for the exercises.
